22 year old Peter O' Grady, aka Joy Orbison, has a fairly immense musical history as well as a bloody brilliant name. Already Djing at the age of 13, 'Orbison' moved over to the production side soon after with a dose of Fruity Loops-made 8 bar grime which eventually morphed into the burst of joy we hear today via dnb, disco, house and garage. 'Hyph Mngo' is the tune on everyone's lips at the moment and is an uplifting synthesis of 2 step beats, funky soulful vocal vibes and something a little bit trancey, with the darker 'Wet Look' on the flipside. The track is due for release on Hotflush 2 mid-September. O'Grady runs his own 'Doldrums' label with partner Impey so expect there to be plenty more where this came from.
