Jean Paul Gaultier Menswear Fall 2010

Following on from the fight club chic shown in Milan earlier this week with DSquared's bloodied boxers and Vivienne Westwood’s down and outs, Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fall 2010 menswear show in Paris was a continuation of a theme. The range revolved around the boxer’s uniform with robe-like outerwear, tapered legs, hoods, laced up calf boots and painted on six packs presented on models with bloodied noses and some seriously moody looks. The inspiration, according to Gaultier was "to put up a fight against boredom and the general climate of gloom." Amen to that.
