Is Victoria Beckham actually a genius?

I have to say I find Victoria Beckham something of a conundrum. On the one hand she is the fake chested, fake tanned, fake pouted half of the chavtastic pairing who perched on wedding thrones in OK, regularly slip across every line of taste known to polite society and indulge in the kind of tattoos you'd normally avoid unless you'd consumed a pint of tequila. On the other hand she has this label that makes these sleek, tightly tailored dresses that have attracted the likes of Elle Mcphearson - one model you'll never see in a velour tracksuit and Uggs. More puzzling still is the advert for her new A/W line. Shot on a well to do suburban street, the short film features models in the label's dresses sitting on swings affixed to doors and bus stops blithely swinging away to a backing track of distant and joyfully out of tune opera and the sounds of early morning birdsong and rush hour, gradually increasing in volume. Finally, VB herself appears swinging, her back to the camera and a child's voice is heard reciting "red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet" and the film ends! Either this label has some serious industry insiders behind it or this woman is a genius.
