A few more from the 2010 Menswear shows in Paris: D&G went heavy on the snow wear with models donning ski goggles to complement the puffed jackets, ski-style boots, alpine design knitwear and woollen layers.
Alexander McQueen sent out an array of heavily patterned fabrics, minutely detailed, drawing from a palette of blacks, browns, oranges and nudes and focusing on suits and tailored trousers and jackets. Models were accessorized with facemasks or balaclavas, centre-parted or bluntly fringed hair and a stern expression. In contrast, Burberry Prorsum went for a muted collection of military tailoring in shades of grey, black, navy and khaki, big collars and biker boots. There was a splash of leather, a few appearances by sheepskin and lots of collarless undershirts all accessorized by cheekbones to cut glass on.
