Double Denim Returns

For years a double denim ensemble has cleverly combined the ultimate in fashion faux pas with making you look like a beanbag, but now it seems this fashion outcast has once again been welcomed with open arms by the likes of Chloe, Ralph Lauren and D&G who all sent the look down the catwalk at last year's Spring/Summer shows. With Spring/Summer now approaching (somewhere, buried beneath layers of snow and ice..) the idea is definitely starting to make its transition from catwalk to high street with the Geldofs and A Deyn all having publicly dipped their toes in the double denim waters. My favourite is the Chloe version (above) worn with lithe limbs and mussed up hair - it’s chic, summery and the least likely to make you look like a member of Status Quo.
